Money Pit if I’m not careful

Posted by on November 12, 2014

Digital scrapbooking can be a money pit.  You keep dropping more and more money out on the websites to buy more and more digital scrapbooking stuff.  I have to be careful or I will overspend.  I love so many things out there.  And when someone I really like has a store sale… I’m toast.  Which is why my continuation of scrapbooking of the spring break has come to a halt.  I bought AK Designs store from Scraps N Pieces.  And I’m still unzipping and tagging files.  Ugh.  285 zip files to unzip.  I must be crazy.  Then again, I’m tagging the master jpg to how many photos each template can hold.  Yaa… crazy woman.  Days later and I’m still working on it.

Along the lines of crazy, I also did my layout for this week.  Looking at it now I see how I could have improved on it…but I will let you see what I submitted for this week.  It had to have at least three pictures, geometric shapes, three papers and two lines of journaling.  Here it is:

I had a blast doing this challenge.  Still learning though.  So much more I can improve… I look at the other challengers and go WOW.  I will get there.  The more I do, the more I see, the more I analyse what I can do to improve it… the better I will become.  Also, I do much better when I spend the money on templates (cough cough) and use those.  Instead of the ones I create myself like above.
